At New Providence Community Church our Cares ministry is divided into three main areas: The Prayer Team - The Prayer Team is a group of people who have dedicated themselves to daily prayer and to promoting the value of prayer within our church. If you have a prayer need that you would like to have our community pray with you about please email the information to or The Benevolence Team - The Benevolence Team at New Providence Community Church exists to provide temporary assistance to those experiencing various needs. We explore direct solutions when possible or provide referrals to an appropriate agency. We operate in a discrete, encouraging environment where we seek to guide and ultimately empower individuals. If you have a need that you would like to make the Benevolence Team aware of please contact or call the church office at 327-1660. Counseling Care - Crisis assessments are provided for individuals, couples or families who attend New Providence Community Church and are experiencing various life struggles. After an assessment, options are given for short or long-term counseling as well as other resources within the church or the larger community. If you have a crisis requiring immediate pastoral assistance (death or critical illness/injury), you can call the front desk at the church and have them contact Mathew Sweeting.
